Whether it’s an injury, illness, or a more serious medical situation, our EMTs are here to promptly provide first aid, administer basic medical care, and assess the urgency of medical situations. If we determine a need, we transfer care to the ambulance, taking patients to Wynn Hospital.

Call Campus Safety 24/7 at 315-859-4000. They will coordinate communications with HCEMS. Contact us in the following situations:

If you encounter a serious medical situation such as unconsciousness, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions, or chest pain, don’t hesitate to call us immediately.

Illness/Injury

Examples include:

  • Sports-related injury
  • Bleeding that will not stop
  • Injury to the head with lasting symptoms
  • Injury to your arm or leg that is getting worse

Our job is emergency medical care and therefore we do not work to provide help with more minor illnesses or injuries. If you need assistance, your options include:

  • Contacting the health center (during business hours)
  • Calling the RN Fonemed service available through the health center number (after hours and on weekends)
  • Local urgent care
  • Local hospital emergency room
