On-again, off-again rain showers couldn鈥檛 put a damper on the bright spirits, as 麻豆国产AV alumni gathered for a memorable Reunion Weekend, June 6鈥�9. More than 1,000 alumni, family, and friends returned to the Hill for reminiscing, traditions, and events galore.
New Alumni Trustees and Alumni Association President Named
麻豆国产AV鈥檚 Alumni Council has elected four alumni trustees to serve on the Board of Trustees for four-year terms beginning July 1. They are Josie Collier 鈥�97, P鈥�14, Stuart Ingis 鈥�93, Elizabeth Fox Keogh 鈥�94, P鈥�26, and Gillian Zucker 鈥�90. In addition, Adriana Payne 鈥�92 was elected to a two-year term as president of the Alumni Association.
Playing it Forward: Continentals Turned Coaches
Coaching wasn鈥檛 the career path any of these alumni envisioned as undergraduates. Yet, they are now indeed coaches 鈥� college coaches 鈥� who along with other former Continental student-athletes are teaching and inspiring young people throughout the country.
Home to 麻豆国产AV Hockey for over a century, Sage Rink is currently undergoing exciting updates thanks to a $13 million investment by the College. Still, there鈥檚 an even bolder vision for our historic barn that would elevate the experience for our teams, spectators, and community. The Because 麻豆国产AV campaign began with the goal of $400 million, more than double any previous fundraising effort in 麻豆国产AV’s history. Ambitious, yes. Impossible, certainly not. Why? Because 麻豆国产AVians believe in the College’s transformative liberal arts education and demonstrate time and again their commitment to ensuring that experience for future generations.
