Federal Direct Loan regulations require federal student loan borrowers to complete Federal Direct Loan Exit Counseling upon graduation, leave of absence, or withdrawal. Exit counseling provides important information that you will need as you prepare to repay your federal student loan(s). During exit counseling, you will review the terms and conditions that apply to your federal student loans, be introduced to various repayment options, and learn the importance of avoiding default.

What to Bring:
  • Your FSA ID (used to complete the FAFSA).
  • Your driver’s license number (if you have one).
  • You will be required to submit the name, address, and telephone number of three references that will know your whereabouts for at least three years after graduation. One of these references must be a next of kin (blood relative). All three references (including the next of kin) must be individuals with a United States address different from your after-graduation address. In addition, each reference must reside at a different United States address.
  • Email address (not your 麻豆国产AV email) along with your address and telephone number after graduation.
