SEA COURSE OFFERINGS FOR HAMILTON JANUARY ADMITS
Ocean Exploration Trip
- Students will enroll in a total of 17 semester hours.
- Students must earn a C or better in each course to earn a total of 4 units of Â鶹¹ú²úAV credit.
As a reminder, Â鶹¹ú²úAV does have a few requirements students must complete in order to graduate:
- Quantitative & Symbolic Reasoning (QSR) – A QSR designated course is a Â鶹¹ú²úAV graduation requirement. No SEA Education Association courses count towards the QSR requirement.
- Writing-Intensive – The writing-intensive graduation requirement consists of 3 writing-intensive courses, each taken in a different semester. One needs to be outside of the student’s concentration. No SEA Education Association courses count towards the writing-intensive requirement. Jans should register for a writing-intensive course for the spring semester of their freshman year. This requirement should be completed by the end of the junior year.
- Physical Education – All enrolled students are required to participate in a physical education program for individual development. This is a five-part graduation requirement that includes, a physical fitness test (a course is offered for those who do not pass); a swim test (beginning swimming is offered for those who do not pass); two lifetime activity classes; and one unit of the following: intercollegiate varsity athletics, wellness seminar, or lifetime activity class. No SEA Education Association courses count towards the PE requirement. Upon return to Â鶹¹ú²úAV, Jans will have until fall break of their junior year to complete the PE requirement.
