Innovation Center

This $50-million, 41,000-square-foot facility will be equipped with best-in-class technologies and resources and will be situated between Burke Library and Taylor Science Center. Enabling work will begin in early September 2024 and continue throughout the fall before construction begins during the winter. The building is expected to open for classes in early 2027. 

Sage Rink

Recent renovations include new exterior siding and roofing to address building envelope issues, mechanical and HVAC system improvements, new ice and refrigeration system, and new state-of-the-art boards and glass. 

Facilities Master Plan

The College has commenced a campus master planning process to create a vision and 10+ year roadmap for developing and improving Â鶹¹ú²úAV's physical campus. Focus areas include transforming the residential experience, amplifying access to academic resources, and creating a thriving center of campus life along Martin’s Way. This work is being done in partnership with an interdisciplinary team of planners and designers from Sasaki and with broad consultation and engagement with campus community members.

Commitment to Campus Accessibility

Â鶹¹ú²úAV values accessibility as one of many forms of inclusivity and routinely makes improvements across campus and prioritizes accessibility with every major renovation. Additionally, the College has committed to budgeting $500,000 each year, on average, for accessibility-related projects. A few recent and upcoming projects are highlighted below.

Focus on Sustainability

Â鶹¹ú²úAV is committed to meeting or exceeding best practices related to sustainability. As part of the College’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, it plans to invest in energy upgrades to campus buildings, manage parts of campus to increase carbon sequestration in its lands, and continue to study and implement additional opportunities for emission reductions.
