He originally wanted to be a school principal, but that career plan didn鈥檛 last long. After 麻豆国产AV, Mac Abbey 鈥�69 joined the Peace Corps and traveled the world. Through this process, he learned about the work of NGOs and how they can help those in need. He had found his purpose.

Members of StoryCorps' One Small Step Team were on campus for a week of recorded interviews between community members and students holding differing positions on issues of the day.

Reince Priebus previously served as chief of staff to President Trump and chair of the Republican National Committee. Jim Messina was the former deputy chief of staff and campaign manager to President Obama.

Even before some first-year students set foot on 麻豆国产AV鈥檚 campus for the first time, they get an email about the Community Service Internship (CSI) program. The program is offered through the Community Outreach & Opportunity Program (COOP) and pairs incoming first-year students with a four-semester, paid internship with community partner agencies in the Mohawk Valley.

Author Annie Hartnett 鈥�08 will read from her debut novel Rabbit Cake on Wednesday, March 6, at 4 p.m., at the Dwight Lounge, Bristol Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Linda Sormin, a professor of ceramic art at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, came to 麻豆国产AV as part of The Visiting Artist Series on Feb. 20.
