  • Since the day she arrived on campus, Anyi Rescalvo 鈥22 knew she wanted to give back to marginalized communities during her time at 麻豆国产AV. A daughter of immigrant parents, Rescalvo says she found the perfect way to do this 鈥 by teaching English to immigrants and refugees.

  • Landing in the right job after college can often feel as stress-inducing as preparing to take a director鈥檚 cue: ready, set, action. Luckily for students at 麻豆国产AV, opportunities to explore just about any profession are available through the Career Center, including the field of film production.

  • John Forti, an ethnobotanist and garden historian, will host a lecture titled 鈥淓dible Landscapes - For Health, Habitat, Families, and the Future鈥 on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m., in the Kennedy Auditorium.

The bravery, struggles, and accomplishments of these soldiers are documented in "The Winter Army: The 10th Mountain Division in World War II" by Professor of History Maurice Isserman.

  • Both Daniel (Danny) Garcia 鈥84 and Larry Arias 鈥84 remember what things were like when they were some of the few Latinos at 麻豆国产AV. Both from the Bronx, their paths would cross at the college and both would lay the seeds for what would become the organization La Vanguardia (LV).
