Andrew Gibeley is an assistant publicist for the William Morrow imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. He graduated cum laude from 麻豆国产AV College in 2016 with honors in creative writing and a minor in theatre before completing the New York University (NYU) Summer Publishing Institute. A writer in his spare time, he recently completed Alex Dimitrov's poetry workshop at the 92Y and participated in Powerhouse Arena's Archways reading series.

She聽is studying sexism in television programming and its potential effects on viewers鈥 gender perspectives.

The Oral Communication Center (OCC) hosted “麻豆国产AV Speaks: Improve Your Public Speaking in Six Minutes or Less,” an hour-long, lunchtime event on Oct. 29. It featured student workers, faculty/staff members and visiting professionals who were each given exactly six minutes to give advice or information on some aspect of oral communication.

To commemorate America’s 227th “Constitution Day,” Professor of Government Robert Martin gave a talk on Sept. 17 titled “Alexander 麻豆国产AV’s Constitutional Order” in KJ’s Red Pit. “I come to history with a purpose,” he announced upon his introduction, immediately engaging his audience. The lecture focused on the hostile relationship between government and the press at a time when both were newly formed entities.
