Performance Spin

Blood Fitness Center Mezzanine

Ride from the shoreline to the hills in this journey that is designed to provide you with optimum endurance and strength building. This ride will simulate varied terrain as you tackle rolling hills, sprints and other drills to give you a great interval workout. Come find the inspiration you’ve been looking for to help you achieve your personal goals! This class is for beginners, seasoned cyclists, and cross-trainers!
Full Body Sculpt
12:10-12:55 p.m., Mondays

Full Body Sculpt emphasizes muscular strength, endurance, and growth while also challenging balance and stability. From dumbbells & kettlebells to stability balls & resistance bands, we will slowly ramp up intensity as we build lean muscle mass. This 45-minute class takes a different approach to strength training by putting functional fitness in the forefront. Targeting the entire body through compound movements, get ready to harness that mind-body connection!
Zumba

Zumba is perfect for everybody and every body. Zumba is a calorie-burning dance fitness party that combines low intensity and high intensity moves for a total body workout and dance experience. Join the class and LET IT MOVE YOU!
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
12:05-12:55 p.m., Tuesdays

A gentle Vinyasa Flow yoga that emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom, and fluidity in the body and mind. Suitable for all levels. Mats available for those without their own.
Intro to Jump Rope

Introduction to basic jump roping with Jason Hill. This class will cover the balance, agility, rhythm, and technique of jumping rope. This skill ignites your metabolism, improves your heart health and stamina, joint health, and increases focus. Jump rope is a great addition to anyone's fitness journey and is no longer the activity you didn't like in PE class! All levels are welcome and encouraged, and ropes are provided.
Body Bar with Step
12:10-12:55 p.m., Wednesdays

Add some variety to your workout by using a weighted bar, hand weights, and step aerobics to alternate strength training and cardio routines. This class is open to all ability levels and is great for employees who are crunched for time. This high-energy class ends with toning, abs and stretch. Bring water, and a towel if desired.
Power Yoga
4:15-5 p.m., Wednesdays

This Power Vinyasa Yoga class will guide you through energetic and quick-flowing sequences, with a dynamic mix of postures. It will allow you to release stress, while still building strength and gaining flexibility. End your week on the mat leaving you refreshed and energized for the weekend. All levels are welcome, as modifications are always offered! Mats are available for those without their own.

Rockout. Workout! It's a jam session - this full-body fusion that combines cardio and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms your workout.
Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to Rockstars of all ages and abilities.
Spinning
5-5:45 p.m., Wednesdays

Cruise through your mid-week hump with indoor cycling while building strength and endurance. We will review proper bike setup, correct form and posture, and learn the basic cycling moves. The class will be 40 minutes of cycling with additional post-workout stretching. The total class time will be about 45 minutes. Please bring a water bottle. This class is open to everyone, especially those new to spinning. Please bring a water bottle and a hand towel. Space is limited, please register to reserve your bike!
Sweat & Shred
5-5:45 p.m., Thursdays (begins Aug. 29th)

This 45-minute class will maximize the bang for your buck! It is composed of short bursts of body weight training blending both interval and strength exercises to hit all areas of the body. With circuit training, this class consists of plenty of cardio, weights, and core to get that extra metabolic burn which will motivate you to keep coming back. You’ll never get the same class twice!

Aikido
1:00-2:00 p.m., Fridays
Blood Fitness Center Multipurpose Room
Instructor: Christina Schubert
Aikido a non-competitive yet powerful Japanese martial art adapted from traditional combat techniques. Aikido can be effectively implemented by people of any age, body type, or gender for self-defense and to improve physical and mental conditioning.
This will be treated as a beginner class welcome to all, but will involve dynamic movements of the entire body. Participants should wear lower body attire that covers the legs below the knee that they can freely move in. T-shirts are acceptable for the upper body.
Fly Fishing 101

This Fly Fishing 101 course is to introduce people who have NEVER fly fished before to new and very exciting horizons. Students will learn everything from casting, tying flies, basic entomology, fly line management, reading water, fishing etiquette, and more. You will also have a chance to explore some beautiful streams in our local area!
Upon completion, students will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to fish most streams and small lakes with confidence. A fishing license is required upon completion of this class. It can be purchased from the Town Clerk in the village of Clinton. The cost of the license is $25, but you must show your college ID for this rate. The license is good for one year from the date of purchase.
All gear is supplied by the college. Weather permitting, we will try to make sure that everyone fishes during the semester that the course is taken.
