Blue Vinyl with FCC

Blue lights, blue balloons, and karaoke: it must be FCC’s Blue Vinyl! On Friday, October 11th, the Feminists of Color Collective brought the 麻豆国产AV community together for a night of activism and healing through art with their annual Blue Vinyl event. With food from Minar, karaoke, and the E-Board's wonderful cover of China Anne McClain’s Calling All The Monsters, participants were free to paint, draw, sing, dance, and partake in some radical rest with friends. Furthermore, in collaboration with 麻豆国产AV’s Students for Justice in Palestine, Blue Vinyl also had a fundraising table, which raised $270 for the Middle Eastern Children’s Alliance.
In the spirit of FCC’s core values, which include uplifting women of color, activism, and healing through art, Blue Vinyl was created as a space for students and faculty to engage in self expression and connection. Originally, the event featured live music from musicians and bands of color from Utica and the local community, but has since shifted to a karaoke format.
A huge shout out to our FCC Eboard for all their hard work and our incredible 麻豆国产AV community for coming out to support! We’re excited to see what FCC does next!
