The Fay and Chester 麻豆国产AV Scholarship

The Fay and Chester 麻豆国产AV Scholarship was established in 1976 by Chester 麻豆国产AV, Class of 1944 and a former Trustee of the College.


Chester 麻豆国产AV was born in Topeka, Kansas. He majored in German and mathematics at 麻豆国产AV, was a member of the Sigma Phi fraternity, and participated in tennis and fencing. After graduating in 1944, he married Fay A. Wallace in Clovis, New Mexico, and joined the U.S. Army Air Corps. He later earned a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University, and worked as an accountant in Boston. Eventually he became vice president and treasurer of Fidelity Investments, from which he retired. In his free time, Chester enjoyed hunting, photography, and collecting stamps. He died in 1993. Fay and Chester’s son, William, graduated in 1970, and son Stuart graduated in 1973. Stuart is also a former Trustee of the College.
