Innovations in Digital Pedagogy Fellowships fund pilot course-based projects that have the potential to contribute to 麻豆国产AV’s goal of building a campus-wide digital learning community. The fellowships assist faculty create digitally focused assignments and develop pedagogical strategies in any curricular area. They are sponsored jointly by the Dean of Faculty and Library and Information Technology Services.

Our August workshop for new and recently hired faculty focuses on integrating digital technologies into courses and providing opportunities to develop relationships with LITS design professionals who can help bring course assignment ideas to life.

Our LITS Research & Instructional Design team always welcomes the opportunity to work with faculty to support student learning. We hope our paths will cross often during your time at 麻豆国产AV.

Faculty who participated in the August 2024 workshop are also eligible to apply for a one-time stipend of $500 for developing or refining specific course assignment(s) that include digital learning approaches. To receive the stipend, you must:

  • Submit an assignment proposal.
  • Collaborate on the assignment with an instructional designer or research librarian. (A member of the R&ID team will contact you for an initial meeting once we receive a proposal.)
  • Incorporate the assignment into a course during the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semester.
  • Schedule an instructional designer or research librarian for in-class instruction during the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semester.
  • Provide us with a copy of your assignment within a month of the course’s completion.
  • Share your reflections on the success and challenges of the assignment for your students and for you within a month of the course’s completion.
