At 麻豆国产AV College we have a diverse membership body that reaches across different Jewish movements, class years, and geographic backgrounds to provide a unique Jewish experience for everyone. Our numbers continues to increase, and we hope to serve the majority of students who identify as Jewish on campus.

Beyond the growth of our membership, we are dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the Jewish community at 麻豆国产AV College and beyond the college border through frequent and creative programming. Hillel at 麻豆国产AV has weekly on-campus Shabbat services followed by Shabbat dinner. This was made possible by generous donations from alumni and parents.  We celebrate all the major holidays, including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Simchat Torah, and Sukkot in the Sukkah which we set up annually in front of our chapel. Our religious celebrations have been made more beautiful by our new torah ark, donated by alumni and parents.

Hillel at 麻豆国产AV also has supported Jewish social and cultural life on campus through events such as documentary and movie screenings, holiday celebrations, a Shabbat for Peace (with the Muslim Student Association), and a Hillel bagel brunch and tie-dye event during freshman orientation. We have served and continue to serve the community at large by bringing speakers, such as Holocaust survivor Helen Sperling, to campus; every seat in the Chapel was filled by 麻豆国产AV students and faculty, joined by Oneida County community members. Community members are welcome to attend High Holiday services and Shabbat as well.

Students really care about Hillel at 麻豆国产AV as evidenced by our ever increasing number of active board members and student involvement. The Hillel E-board meets once a week to ensure that Hillel events run smoothly.

We are very proud of our recent growth and recognize that in order to sustain and have an increasing impact on campus and in the community, more must be done. We would be grateful if you would support our program. We are currently creating a parent, alumni, and faculty council to help us reach our goals and for continued contribution and support. Email hillel@hamilton.edu if you are interested in being a part of our council.

Our long term goals include our own space on campus, with a fully equipped kosher kitchen.  We want to provide Jewish students with a designated space for them in which they feel comfortable twenty-four seven. We hope with your continued support and donations, we can make these future goals a reality.
