Kenneth Andrew Andres Leonardo received his Ph.D. in political science and M.A. in politics from Claremont Graduate University, and his B.A. in political science, international relations from Bucknell University. His research and teaching interests include history of political thought (Western and non-Western), American political thought and development, Native and Indigenous thought, inequality, resistance, and revolution. Currently, he is working on research projects exploring the understanding of equality in the early republic and various forms of resistance. Recent and previous affiliations include the Newberry Library, the Huntington Library, and the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
