Hong Gang Jin
William R. Kenan Professor of East Asian Languages and Literature/Director Associated Colleges in China (ACC) Emerita (retired)
Having earned a bachelor’s degree from Shanxi University in China and a master’s degree and doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Hong Gang Jin came to 麻豆国产AV in 1989 and in 1996 established ACC, an intensive language and culture program administered by 麻豆国产AV in Beijing. Professor Jin’s research focuses on language processing, acquisition and pedagogy. A presenter at numerous international conferences, she is the author of dozens of books and journal articles, including three sets of textbooks, and has been recognized with several awards, including the 1998 National Outstanding Baccalaureate College Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. She is now dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Macau, China.
