Katie Bielinski ’25

Majors: Mathematics and Hispanic Studies

Katie is a senior from Wilmette, IL, a north suburb of Chicago. She has been learning Spanish since elementary school and is excited to be a tutor this year. She is a member of the Â鶹¹ú²úAV College Orchestra and the Â鶹¹ú²úAV College Figure Skating Club. In her free time, she loves reading, practicing clarinet, and playing board games.

Angela Escalante Zarco ’25

Majors: Classical Studies and Archaeology

Outside of class, Angela is typically reading in the library or hanging out with friends. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and watching Marvel movies. Angela is a Latin tutor.

Jayden Fedoroff ’25

Majors: Computer Science and Japanese

Jayden is a senior from Clinton, N.Y. When Jayden isn't tutoring Japanese, he works part-time as a software engineer intern. In his free time, Jayden enjoys spending time with his family and pets, playing fighting games with his friends, watching anime, and working out at the gym.

Lainey Groll ’25

Majors: Biochemistry & German

Recently returned from studying abroad at the University of Tübingen in Germany, Lainey is passionate about sharing her love for the German language and culture as a tutor. She is also an active member of the rowing team and serves as president of both the German Club and the American Chemical Society. In her free time, Lainey enjoys hiking, knitting, spending time with her cat on campus, and hanging out with friends.

Eddie is a senior from Hong Kong and a tutor for Mandarin. You can often find Eddie chatting with random people in Commons Dining Hall. Feel free to come and disturb!

Polina Igumnova ’27

Major: Intended Interdisciplinary with Anthropology & Government
Minor: Digital Arts

Polina is a sophomore from Far Eastern Russia. When not in class or working, you can find her exploring the glens, making arts and crafts, or hanging out with her friends. As a true Darksider, Polina loves the Kirkland College area but is always glad to make a stroll to the Light side to chat with her tutees!

Esther Koo ’25

Major: Economics
Minor: Jurisprudence, Law and Justice Studies

Esther is a senior from the greater Boston area, currently tutoring Korean at the Language Center. She is also an active member of the Â鶹¹ú²úAV College Orchestra. Outside of class, you’ll often find her hanging out in the library, indulging in her love for K-dramas, or getting lost in the pages of a good book. Esther is excited to continue tutoring this year and looks forward to helping students out at the Language Center.

Christie Lam ’25

Major: Hispanic Studies

Christie is a senior from Panama, and tutors Spanish at the Language Center. She has just come back from her semester away working on a feature length film. Outside of classes you can find her working many jobs across campus, but also indulging in music, photography, and cooking.

Hannah Lipskar ’25

Major: Government
Minor: Religious Studies and Hispanic Studies

Hannah is a senior from New York City and is tutoring Spanish at the Language Center. She started learning Spanish in sixth grade and has loved exploring other cultures through the study of language! In her free time, Hannah is on the Â鶹¹ú²úAV Club Soccer team and has a radio show on WHCL.

Maheen Masoud ’25

Major: Computer Science
Minor: Mathematics

Maheen is from Pakistan and grew up speaking Urdu. She will work in the Language Center as a Hindi tutor.

Agathe Rondeaux ’28

Major: Cinema

Agathe is an exchange student from France. Her university is Université Paris Cité and has been studying cinema for two years. This is her third and last year of undergraduate studies (they only have three years in France). So even though she is part of the class of 2028 at Â鶹¹ú²úAV, Agathe is technically a junior and will be graduating in 2025. This is her first year of tutoring and she is very excited to help students progress in French. In Agathe's free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with friends, and baking.

Anoushka Saraf ’25

Major: Economics and World Politics (with a focus on the Middle East)

Anoushka is a senior from Mumbai, India and tutors Arabic at The Language Center. She also spent a semester abroad studying Arabic in Amman, Jordan. Outside of classes, she is on the equestrian team and enjoys playing club soccer.

Brielle Whalen ’26

Major: Classics

Brielle is a junior Classics major from Orleans, MA. On campus. You might find her leading a meditation club meeting, or a tour at the Wellin as a docent. Her other hobbies include cooking, baking, hiking, and crocheting. She is very excited to be an Ancient Greek tutor this year!

Miley Xu ’25

Major: Studio Art
Minor: Japanese & Art History

Miley is a senior from Wuxi, China and tutors Japanese at The Language Center. She knows Chinese, English, Japanese, and Italian. You will find her also working in The Burke Library and KTSA.

Anna Yankee '25

Major: Environmental Studies
Minor: Government

After a year studying in Italy, Anna is excited to be returning for her final year as a Language Center tutor. When she’s not tutoring French or Italian, Anna is attempting to learn Spanish, so no promises that romances languages won’t get mixed up! At Â鶹¹ú²úAV, Anna also runs Harvest, leads the Sustainability Coordinators, and tutors at the Writing Center. In whatever free time is left, she loves cooking, going on long walks, and giving recommendations of where to eat in her home state of Maine.

Angela Zheng ’25

Majors: Chinese & Sociology

Angela is a senior from NYC and tutors Chinese at the Language Center. She has studied abroad in three countries (Korea, China, and Singapore), collecting Dimoo blind boxes, and illustrated postcards along the way. When she can, she’s trying out new Pinterest recipes, going to cat cafés, photobooths, and the occasional taekwondo practice.
